How can I know the resurrection is a reality?

Series: Stand Alone

Easter Sunday is the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. I know many of you don’t have an issue with believing Jesus resurrected from the grave. It actually provides you hope and rightly so.

For some of you, you might be on the fence. Maybe your friend or your neighbor invited you to come or watch online today. Or maybe you came today seeking answers and hope in this time of uncertainty. Maybe you are wondering if the resurrection is a reality? Or is Jesus a master illusionist who has fooled us all for centuries? If the resurrection is a reality, you might be wondering how you should respond?

Maybe you are asking those questions. Maybe you are looking for hope. Maybe you are wondering: Can Jesus change my life? I believe He can do all those things. He provides us hope in uncertain times. He answers life’s deepest questions. He changes our life.

It all hinges on the resurrection being a reality. If Jesus didn’t resurrect from the grave, we have no hope because death is the end of us all. But because Jesus rose from the grave, we can celebrate. We can have joy. We can have peace. Many of you want that and you want to believe in Jesus, but I know you are wondering: How can I know Jesus' resurrection was a reality?
