What does the Bible have to say about the spiritual world and spiritual gifts?

A lot of times, when people think about the supernatural world, they think about — Ghosts and Ghost tours like these, especially around Halloween. That’s mainly because the Enlightenment has taken us from a people who have knowledge and acceptance of the spiritual world to a people who are focused purely on the rational and material world. I think it is safe to say that since the time of the Enlightenment, there has been a rejection of the supernatural world, at least to a certain degree in our society, which has resulted in a misunderstanding of the spiritual dimension of this world. We chalk that spiritual dimension up to ghosts and ghost stories. And that is really it.

But is this how we should think about the supernatural world? Is this how we should think about spiritual things? Or is there more to it? What does the Bible have to say about the spiritual world and spiritual gifts?
