Why should Jesus' death captivate us?

Finishing what we start is a universal desire. It is a desire that emanates from God Himself. Our God is not a God who stops short. He does not leave projects unfinished. He sees through what He started. 

Last week we learned that Jesus’ trial was according to plan, and this week we continue with that same theme as we look at Jesus’ death. As we examine Jesus' death, we see that Jesus’ death is a part of a larger project that began before the foundations of the world and is according to plan.
