Why must we continue to pursue Christ?

We can keep pressing on, trusting God knows what’s best and will one day bring us to the end of our journey, or we can turn back to that which is comfortable, to that which we know. To a place where there is no mystery and no one to trust in but ourselves. While that might be tempting, as Christians we can’t return to our former way of life. Instead, we must continue to pursue Christ.

Why is that? Why must we continue to pursue Christ?
